The organic phase was washed with water (20 mL) and the organic layer dried over Na2SO4, and concentrated under reduced pressure. The crude product was chromatographed onsilica gel (200-300 mesh) using a mixture of petroleum ether and ethyl acetate as eluent to afford the product 4.
