General procedure: The appropriate 1,2,4-triazole-3-thiol (45-69, 1 equiv), 2-chloro-acetamide (70a-m, 1.1 equiv), Cs2CO3 (1.1 equiv) and NaI (0.05 equiv) were stirred in dry MeCN at 50C, and reaction progress was monitored by UPLC/MS.
