General procedure: In air, a 10 mL of dried Schlenk tube was charged with azoxybenzene (1a; 79.2 mg, 0.40 mmol), TsNH2 (2a; 102.6 mg, 0.60 mmol), [Cp*Rh- Cl2]2 (3.1 mg, 0.005 mmol), AgSbF6 (13.7 mg, 0.04 mmol), and PhI(OAc)2 (193.2 mg, 0.60 mmol).
