The filtrate was evaporated in vacuo and the residue was purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (5% to 30% EtOAc in hexanes) to give tert-butyl ((l S,3S)-3-((3-bromopyridin-2-yl)oxy)cyclobutyl)carbamate (391 mg, 1.14 mmol, 30%) as white solid.
