The mixture was stirred at 90 C for 17 h. The reaction mixturewas diluted with EtOAc and water and the layers were separated. The organic layer waswashed with brine, dried over MgSO4 and filtered. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure to give 378 mg of intermediate 67 (79% yield, brown solid) which was directly engaged in the next step without further purification.
