[0543] To a solution of 269-3 (4.46 g, 20 mmol), PdOAc (0.45 g, 2 mmol) and Cu(OAe)2 (7.26 g, 40 mmol) in 1.2-dichloroethane ( 150 mL) was added anhydrous CuBr2 (8.93 g. 40 mmol) under N2 atmosphere. The mixture was stirred at 90 C for 72 h. After cooling to r.t., the reaction was quenched by water, and filtered through a celite pad. The solution was washed with brine, dried by anhydrous Na2S04 and concentrated at low pressure.
